Frequently asked Questions
for SiteStudio

Is it possible to use SiteStudio to edit a web-site created by a tool other than SiteStudio?
No, it is impossible.

Is it possible to use SiteStudio to edit an existing web-site? Does SiteStudio have an import site feature?
No, you can't import websites that were created outside SiteStudio. You can only create new sites and edit them later on. Moreover, if you remove a page (or click the "Start Over" link that caused removing of your whole site) in SiteStudio, there is no way to import it from the published site. You cannot just copy user's pages (sites) that were created with SiteStudio from one place (server) to another to make them work in SiteStudio again. The only way for you to prevent undesired loss of your site is to save them with the SiteStudio Save feature that is available in the Site Settings section.

Will I have all the templates that I've seen in your on-line demo?
Sure. The latest available version of SiteStudio has all the templates that you see in the on-line demo.

Is there a manual that I can see on how to use SiteStudio?
Sure. The on-line help is available in SiteStudio. Find the Question mark in the top right corner of SiteStudio screen and click it.

How much does it cost to use SiteStudio?
SiteStudio is FREE to all accounts.  There is no cost and no hidden charges.

Can I build a site with Site Studio and then edit it with FrontPage?
Yes, but then you won't be able to edit it with SiteStudio any more.

I edited my site with FrontPage. Why am I having problems with it now?
The problem is that FrontPage corrupts files with security settings. This is why it is strongly recommended to avoid using FrontPage for editing sites created with SiteStudio
